Turf Cleaning Academy is operated by Dirty Turf, LLC (“Turf Cleaning Academy,” “Dirty Turf,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit TurfCleaningAcademy.com, access academy.dirtyturf.com, create or use an Academy account, participate in courses or certification programs, participate in our community, download or use the Turf Cleaning Academy mobile application, attend Academy events or live sessions, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Academy.

This Policy applies to the Turf Cleaning Academy website, member portal, courses, community, mobile application, and related services collectively referred to as the “Academy.”

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the Academy, you may provide:

• Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, username or display name, authentication information, profile photo, company or business information, and other information you choose to add to your profile.
• Purchase information: billing information, purchase history, courses or memberships purchased, and transaction details. Payment-card information is generally processed by third-party payment processors, and we do not ordinarily store your full payment-card number.
• Course and learning information: courses enrolled in, lesson progress, course completion, assessment or assignment responses, certifications earned, learning activity, and event or live-session participation.
• Community information: posts, comments, reactions, likes, images, videos, documents, other uploads, messages, questions and answers, member reports, users you block or restrict where available, and community activity.
• Communications: support requests, emails, SMS messages, chat messages, feedback, survey responses, reviews, or testimonials.

3. Mobile App and Device Information

When you use the Turf Cleaning Academy mobile application, we may automatically receive information such as device type and model, operating system and version, application version, IP address, device or application identifiers, login and authentication activity, crash and diagnostic information, app usage and interaction information, push-notification tokens or preferences, and approximate geographic information derived from your IP address.

Depending on the feature you choose to use, the app may request permission to access device features such as the camera, microphone, photo or media library, and notifications. We access these features only as necessary to provide functionality you request and subject to your device permissions. You can modify device permissions through your operating-system settings.

When you use our website or member portal, we may collect IP address, browser type, device information, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, session information, dates and times of visits, clicks and other interaction data, approximate location, cookies, and similar identifiers.

• HighLevel / LeadConnector, which provides technology supporting our portal, community, courses, account features, communications, and branded mobile application.

7. Community Profiles and User-Generated Content

The Academy includes social and community features. Information you add to your community profile, and content you post or share, may be visible to other Academy members depending on the applicable community or channel settings.

This can include your display name, profile image, company information, posts, comments, reactions, uploaded media, and other information you intentionally share. Please avoid posting sensitive or confidential personal information you do not want other members to see.

Private communications are visible to their intended recipients and may also be accessible to authorized platform administrators when reasonably necessary for security, support, moderation, legal compliance, or enforcement. We may review reported content or activity as reasonably necessary to maintain community safety and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

8. How We Share Information

Service Providers

We may disclose information to vendors that help us provide the Academy, including providers of course and community technology, mobile app infrastructure, hosting and cloud services, payment processing, authentication, analytics, email and SMS, push notifications, video hosting, customer support, security, and fraud prevention.

Other Academy Members

Profile information and community content you intentionally share may be visible to members consistent with the relevant community settings.

Business Transfers

Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

Legal and Safety Purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud or abuse, address security issues, or protect members or others from harm.

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising or analytics activities may constitute “selling” or “sharing” personal information under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act when used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may send operational communications necessary to manage your Academy account or purchases. If you consent to marketing communications, we may also send promotional email or SMS messages.

You may opt out of email marketing by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, SMS marketing by replying STOP where available, and push notifications through device settings. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary account, transaction, security, or service communications.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including maintaining your account, providing purchased content, maintaining course and certification records, providing community functionality, completing transactions, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.

Retention periods vary depending on the information involved. We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.

You may request deletion of your Turf Cleaning Academy account and associated personal information.

In the App

Where account creation is supported in our mobile application, an account-deletion option will be provided within the app.

On the Web

You may also initiate an account deletion request outside the application at https://turfcleaningacademy.com/delete-account/.

After verifying a request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account unless retention is required or permitted for legitimate purposes such as legal obligations, tax or financial records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements.

Community posts or other contributions associated with a deleted account may be deleted or anonymized as appropriate. Deleting an account may permanently remove profile information, course access, course progress, certifications or completion records, community participation, saved preferences, and other associated Academy data.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to access personal information; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; obtain a portable copy where applicable; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain targeted advertising; opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined under applicable privacy laws; and exercise privacy rights without discriminatory treatment.

16. California Privacy Rights

We do not sell personal information for money. If advertising technologies used by our website constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, California users may exercise applicable opt-out rights using available site controls or by contacting us. 21. App Store and Google Play Disclosures

The Academy application may be distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Those platforms may independently collect information in connection with downloading, updating, purchasing through, or interacting with applications.

Apple and Google act under their own privacy policies for information they independently collect. Our Google Play Data Safety disclosures and Apple App Privacy disclosures are intended to be consistent with this Privacy Policy, including data collection or sharing performed through third-party SDKs used by the application.

22. “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control

Because there is no universally accepted technical standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, our website may not respond to traditional DNT signals. Where required by law, we will honor recognized privacy preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for applicable opt-out requests.
